Baby Face Cloth Pattern

Baby Face Cloths
Here are some lovely baby face cloths I knit. They were so easy, and only took a few hours to knit. I love these face clothes, because they are so pretty, fun to knit, and they are so soft on a baby s face. They make great gifts for a baby shower!
Here is the pattern to knit these face cloths.

Knitting Abbreviations:
K - Knit
YO - Yarn over
K2tog - Knit 2 together




Baby Face Cloth Pattern:
Needle: #7 Cast on 4 stitches.
Row 1: Knit across.
Row 2: k2, yo, knit to end of row.
Row 3:  Repeat Row 2 until you have 48 stitches.
Row 4: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, knit to end of row. Repeat until you have 4 stitches and bind off. Weave in your ends and you are done.

Knit Newborn Baby Hat Pattern

Knit Newborn Baby Hat
Here is a simple knit newborn baby hat pattern that has been passed down through the generations. This makes a nice gift for baby showers.

3 Ply Yarn
Size 7 Knitting Needles

Knitting Abbreviations:
K - Knit
P - Purl
K2tog - Knit 2 together
P2tog - Purl 2 together

Newborn Baby Hat Pattern:
Cast on 60 stitches.

K2 - P2 to the end of the row.
Continue this until you have 6 inches (approximately 36 rows).

K2tog, P2tog across the row (30stitches).
Purl back across the row.

K2tog across the row (15 stitches).
Purl back across the row.

K2tog across the row (8 stitches).
Purl back across the row.

Thread yarn needle and pull through the 8 stitches, pull up tight and knot. Sew sides together, sewing the bottom inch on the right side so it doesn't show when turning up the cuff of the hat.

I just finished knitting this lovely dish cloth. It was so easy, and only took a few hours to knit. I love these dish clothes, because they are so pretty, fun to knit, and they clean so well!

Row 3:  Repeat Row 2 until you have 48 stitches.
Row 4: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, knit to end of row. Repeat until you have 4 stitches and bind off. Weave in your ends and you are done.
